Woman seriously injured when boat and jet ski collide on Sacramento River

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A woman in her twenties was hospitalized Monday after an accident involving a boat and a jet ski on the Sacramento River near Tiscornia Park, according to KCRA 3.

Passersby on another boat were able to pull the woman from the water before the Sacramento Fire Department arrived on the scene.

Captain Keith Wade with Sacramento Fire said the rescuing crew member responded via water bike and quickly administered life-saving measures to the woman.

The victim was rushed to a trauma facility with what are considered significant injuries.

No other information was reported regarding the cause or circumstances of the incident.
