Woman killed, child hospitalized after collision on Franklin Blvd.

SACRAMENTO, CA - A woman was killed and a small child was injured following a multi-vehicle crash in the North City Farms neighborhood on Monday.

According to ABC 10, the two-vehicle collision took place at about 5:10 p.m. along Franklin Boulevard, near the intersection with 21st Avenue.

Few details regarding the cause of the crash are available at this time. However, police confirmed one woman suffered fatal injuries and a toddler was sent to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash did not suffer any significant injuries.
