Woman injured in rollover accident, man flees scene

SACRAMENTO, CA - A woman was seriously injured in a rollover collision on I-5 near William Land Park this morning, Fox 40 reports.

A pickup truck hit a construction sign on southbound I-5 near Sutterville Road sometime before 7:15 a.m., causing the vehicle to overturn. A woman was seriously injured in the crash, while a man fled the scene.

Emergency responders rushed the woman to an area hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

The man may still be at large at this time.

Two of I-5's southbound lanes were closed following the incident, but reopened by 7:15 a.m.
