SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle fire Monday evening blocked three left lanes on Interstate 5 near the Southern Pacific/Richards neighborhood in north Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-5 north of Richards Boulevard and was first reported at 6:15 p.m.
Motorists were warned of traffic delays stretching back to the Vietnam Veterans Rest Area.
At 6:40 p.m., the right lane was reported blocked, suggesting the crash scene had been moved from the three left lanes.
