Two-vehicle collision reported on Folsom Blvd in La Riviera

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday evening near a shopping center in the Sheffield area of La Riviera, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Folsom Boulevard just west of Bradshaw Road. It was first reported by CHP at 5:45 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but it involved a gray Toyota Rav4 and a silver sedan.

Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway and were blocking traffic lanes, but were in the process of being moved to the right hand shoulder.

As of 5:46 p.m., no significant injuries have been reported in the accident.
