Two-vehicle collision reported near I-80 onramp in North Highlands

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A two-vehicle accident was reported early Friday evening near Interstate 80 in North Highlands, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes of Watt Avenue approaching the I-80 northbound onramp. It was first reported by CHP at 5:24 p.m.

No other details have been made available at this time, but CHP indicated both vehicles came to rest in the roadway, blocking the far left lane.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured in the crash.
