Two-vehicle collision blocks intersection east of Grass Valley

GRASS VALLEY, CA - Police are responding to a two-vehicle collision that blocked an intersection east of Grass Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on Idaho Maryland Road where it intersects with Brunswick Road at 11:31 a.m. this morning. A black Toyota and a gray Ford pickup truck collided in the intersection, leaving the Toyota as a traffic-obstructing hazard.

Grass Valley police assisted with CHP's response.

It is currently unknown if anyone was injured in the accident.

Motorists should avoid the area until the debris can be cleared.
