SACRAMENTO, CA -- Two people were injured Friday afternoon after a single-vehicle rollover collision near Metro Air Park in northwest Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers were dispatched to the crash near the intersection of West Elkhorn Boulevard and Metro Air Parkway at 2:23 p.m.

An Isuzu vehicle crashed into a road median and traveled off the roadway, rolling over several times before landing in a nearby field.

Two people were reported injured, though it has not been confirmed whether or not both people were in the vehicle at the time or if one person was a pedestrian.

An ambulance was requested at the scene, in addition to a tow truck, suggesting significant vehicle damages possibly amounting to total loss.
