Two injured in multi-vehicle wreck on US-50 near Rancho Cordova

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- At least two people were hurt Wednesday evening in a multi-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 50 near Rancho Cordova, according to California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on the ramp connecting the northbound lanes of Bradshaw Road to US-50 westbound. It was first reported by CHP at 5:23 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but three vehicles were involved, including a black Hyundai Santa Fe, a blue Volkswagen Passat, and possibly a light-colored Subaru.

Two victims suffered minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center.

A tow truck was requested at the scene for at least one vehicle with major fender damage.
