SACRAMENTO, CA -- At least two people were injured Monday night after a collision involving at least two vehicles in north Sacramento's Village 14 area, according to California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes of Northgate Boulevard at the Del Paso Road intersection at 7:53 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a dark blue Infiniti G37 were involved. A later update in CHP's traffic incident report indicates five other vehicles may have been impacted.
Fire medics transported at least two people to a nearby hospital, including one male victim who was reportedly lying in the roadway. No further information has been disclosed regarding the severity of their condition.
