Traffic collision near Auburn leaves at least 1 injured

PLACER COUNTY, CA - At least one injury was reported in a collision off Highway 49 around 4:30 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol was on the scene of a collision on Salmon Falls Road south of Auburn this afternoon. A pickup truck was involved in a collision with another vehicle that blocked the roadway. A person was reportedly stumbling out of one of the vehicles with injuries.

It's unclear the severity of the injuries or cause of the crash at this time.
