Six-car pileup causes traffic jam on US-50 near Alhambra Triangle

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A multi-vehicle accident Friday morning caused major delays on U.S. Highway 50, near Sacramento's Alhambra Triangle, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The crash happened on a stretch of the highway approaching Stockton Boulevard at approximately 8:45 a.m.

Few details have been reported at this time, but six vehicles were impacted, blocking three right lanes.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., the scene had been cleared with all lanes reopened.
