Semi-truck crashes into Marysville bridge

MARYSVILLE, CA - A semi-truck driver crashed into a bridge in Marysville Tuesday morning.

According to CBS13, the truck was carrying a mobile home when it struck the top of B Street Bridge in Marysville resulting in delayed traffic. Apparently, this is not the first time an accident like this has happened with locals calling it a "problem bridge".

Police say the truck was hauling a load too tall for the bridge and the responsibility is on the driver. Caltrans is working toward solutions to minimize the accidents at the B Street Bridge.
