Semi crash closes lane on Madison Avenue near north Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A collision between a van and a semi-truck Monday afternoon was blocking the left lane on Madison Avenue near north Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the scene in the eastbound lanes of Madison Avenue just west of Date Avenue in Northern Highlands at 3:37 p.m.

The accident involved a semi-truck and a white 1999 Ford E250 van towing a trailer with a motorcycle on it.

No further information has been reported on what led up to the crash or which party was responsible.

No injuries or vehicle damages have yet been reported as of 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
