Second pedestrian killed by vehicle on Hwy 99 this week

SACRAMENTO, CA - Another person has died crossing Highway 99 in Sacramento Wednesday night, reports CBS13.

Just one day after a pedestrian died, another pedestrian was killed on the same highway.

The person was crossing Highway 99 near 47th Avenue when they were struck by a driver in the southbound lanes.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver in the accident stayed and cooperated with authorities.
