SACRAMENTO, CA -- Property damage was reported Friday evening after a car crashed into a fence near a parking lot at Sacramento International Airport, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place near the intersection of North Bayou Road and Crossfield Drive shortly before 5:10 p.m.
It was not clear what led up to the crash, but the involved vehicle ran into a fence, downing four poles and damaging about 50 feet of the fence.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene for the car, suggesting significant vehicle damage.
A representative and police connected to the airport were en route to assess the scene.
