Person injured after HWY 160 crash involving DUI

COURTLAND, CA - A passenger was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash involving a drunk driver on Highway 160 Friday night.

According to FOX4, the driver crashed the vehicle on Route 160 near Sutter Island Road, causing the car to overturn in the roadway.

A passenger in the car suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital to be treated.

Police arrested the driver on felony DUI charges. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
