Pedestrian struck and killed on Hwy 99 in South Sac

SACRAMENTO, CA - One person was killed after being hit by a vehicle in South Sacramento Tuesday night, reports CBS13.

The pedestrian was struck on Highway 99 in the southbound lanes near Mack Road.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver stayed and spoke with the police. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
