SACRAMENTO, CA - A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a vehicle in Sacramento County last night.
According to a report by CBS 13, the victim was struck in the area of Elverta Road and 16th Street at about 11 p.m.
The unidentified man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
It is unclear what caused the crash at this time. However, investigators believe low visibility may have been a factor.
