One killed after multi-vehicle wreck in northeast Carmichael

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- At least one person died Monday afternoon after a rollover collision involving three vehicles in northeast Carmichael, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Fair Oaks Boulevard near the Marshall Avenue intersection shortly before 4:35 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the accident, but it involved a silver Chevy pickup truck, a silver sedan, and a white GMC Denali.

All vehicles came to rest in the roadway and was blocking all travel lanes.

At least one person was reported trapped in the silver sedan, which had flipped onto its roof.

As of 5:34 p.m., CHP has not confirmed the number of people killed or injured in the accident.
