One injured in multi-vehicle collision on Kenneth Ave near NE Fair Oaks

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- One person was hospitalized Monday evening after a multi-vehicle accident at an intersection in northeast Fair Oaks, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at Kenneth Avenue and Madison Avenue and was first reported by CHP at 6:08 p.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but four vehicles were involved, including a white Honda Accord, a black Dodge Durango, a teal Buick, and a black Audi Q5.

All vehicles came to rest in the roadway and were blocking the intersection.

One victim was transported by ambulance to Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael with undisclosed injuries.

At 6:30 p.m., all eastbound lanes of Madison Avenue became blocked as tow crews began clearing the scene.
