One injured in hit-and-run collision on SR-99 near Med Center

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run crash was reported Thursday night on California Highway 99 near Midtown Sacramento's Med Center area, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on the SR-99 northbound offramp to U.S. Highway 50 eastbound. It was first reported by CHP at 11:20 p.m.

Shortly after the crash, the victim party was able to move to a secondary location near La Riviera Drive and Salmon Falls Drive.

CHP reported injuries in the event, but it was unclear how many people were hurt.

No further information has been released on the suspect vehicle or its driver.
