SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- One person was hurt Friday evening after a collision involving a two-wheeled vehicle on Interstate 80 in North Highlands, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported on the eastbound lanes of I-80 just east of the Verner Avenue pedestrian bridge shortly before 4:44 p.m.

Few details have been shared at this time, but an early report from CHP indicates a black Toyota Camry collided with a bicyclist near the center divider of the highway. CHP also signaled Sacramento Fire received a report involving a motorcyclist. As of 5:19 p.m., authorities have not confirmed which vehicles were involved.

An ambulance was en route to the scene for minor injuries to at least one person.
