SACRAMENTO, CA -- At least one person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident near the Sacramento Metro Fire District Station in northeast Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at 3000 Fulton Avenue and was first reported by CHP shortly after 4:00 p.m.
No details have been released on the events leading up to the crash, but a white four-door sedan and another undisclosed vehicle were involved. The sedan came to a rest in the roadway, blocking multiple northbound lanes of Fulton Avenue. The other vehicle was able to move to a nearby plot.
Medics at the scene treated at least one person for minor injuries, but it is unclear whether the victim required transport to a hospital.
Both vehicles sustained fender damage, and one vehicle received moderate rear-end damage. CHP's incident report indicates at least one vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
By 4:35 p.m., the scene was reported cleared.
