SACRAMENTO, CA -- One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday afternoon outside the Redwood Square Apartments in northeast Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at 4400 Elkhorn Boulevard at around 1:49 p.m.
The reporting party who owns the victim vehicle said a passenger sustained minor injuries to the head and tongue as a result of the crash.
The causing vehicle might have also struck a neighboring vehicle before fleeing.
At 1:48 p.m., crews with Sacramento Fire were dispatched to the scene.
