Motorcyclist killed after multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99

MODESTO, CA - One person died following a multi-vehicle crash near Modesto on Tuesday morning reports KCRA.

The fatal collision happened on Highway 99 north of Pelandale Avenue. A driver in a car was traveling in the fast lane while the motorcyclist was in the lane next to them.

The two vehicles collided, throwing the person from the motorcycle. They were then struck by a driver in a semi-truck.

No other injuries were reported in the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
