Motorcyclist injured in South Sacramento crash with SUV

SACRAMENTO, CA - A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on US 50 eastbound in south Sacramento Monday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the highway just west of Watt Avenue between a motorcycle and a Dodge Journey SUV.

The motorcyclist was found unconscious in the roadway and sent to an area hospital.

What led up to the crash is not clear at this time.
