Motorcyclist dies after collision with another vehicle in north Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A motorcyclist was fatally injured Monday afternoon in a crash involving another vehicle along El Camino Real Boulevard in north Sacramento, according to KCRA 3.

Sacramento police said the accident happened on a stretch of West El Camino Real between Thelma Avenue and Reiner Way shortly after 3:00 p.m.

The rider was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident caused nearby roads to be blocked until 7:50 p.m. the same day.
