Man injured in multi-vehicle collision in north Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A man was injured Wednesday afternoon after an intersection collision involving three vehicles in Northern Highlands, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at the intersection of Watt Avenue Myrtle Avenue near a Taco Bell restaurant and was first reported at 3:38 p.m.

A silver van, a gold sedan, and a black Honda sedan were reported to be involved in the incident.

At least one man was reported to be bleeding at the scene, where an ambulance was en route. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, but all parties involved were reported to have been able to vacate their vehicles.

The incident response is in progress as of 3:52 p.m. Wednesday, and no further information has been shared.
