Man fatally hit by two vehicles while crossing road near Foothill Farms

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A 57-year-old man died last Thursday evening when he was struck by two vehicles near Foothill Farms, according to CBS Sacramento.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Hillsdale Boulevard and Greenholme Drive at around 6:20 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was using a walker to cross the street when he was hit and knocked over by a Subaru Impreza driven by a 24-year-old woman. Shortly after, the man was run over by an oncoming Jeep driven by a 54-year-old man.

Authorities said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers cooperated with police and were not suspected of impairment.

No information has been released on any arrests or pending charges at this time.
