Male pedestrian killed in crash near Dos Rios Triangle in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA --  A man died early Friday morning after he was struck and killed in an intersection near the Dos Rios Triangle neighborhood in Sacramento, according to KCRA.

The incident occurred at the North 12th Street and North B Street intersection shortly before 3:00 a.m.

Police said the man died at the scene of the crash.

Little information has been released following the incident. It has not yet been confirmed what led up to the crash or who was responsible, though DUI has been ruled out as a factor.

Lanes were shut down in both directions on North 12th Street as an investigation was conducted. The road later reopened at 7:15 a.m.
