Major injuries reported in multi-vehicle crash off US-50

POLLOCK PINES, CA - Major injuries were reported in a collision involving three vehicles on US-50 westbound this evening.

The incident took place around 4:15 p.m. with the California Highway Patrol responding to a collision near the Ridgeway Drive off-ramp on westbound Us-50. According to the report, a Jeep, pickup truck, and sedan were involved in the collision. The crash was blocking the number two lane of the highway.

At least two people involved were transported to an area hospital for injuries. It is unclear what caused the accident at this time.
