Major crash causes traffic jam on US-50 EB in downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle accident Wednesday morning closed two right lanes on U.S. Route 50 eastbound near the Alhambra Triangle neighborhood in downtown Sacramento, according to CBS Sacramento.

The crash took place in the eastbound lanes of US-50 just west of 34th Street and was first reported by Caltrans at 6:43 a.m.

No other updates have been disclosed on the parties involved or any injuries sustained in the accident.
