SACRAMENTO, CA -- At least one person was injured Tuesday evening in a collision involving four vehicles on Interstate 5 in north Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The incident took place on the northbound lanes of I-5 before Richards Boulevard and was first reported by TTWN at 6:10 p.m.
Few details have been shared on the circumstances around the crash, but minor injuries were reported.
The event blocked two left lanes on I-5 and caused a traffic backup stretching beyond Highway 50. U.S. Highway 50 westbound was also experiencing delays well before 16th Street.
By 6:35 p.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened, though delays remained.
