SACRAMENTO, CA -- At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon after a hit-and-run collision involving four vehicles on U.S. Highway 50 in east Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the US-50 westbound offramp to Watt Avenue and was first reported by CHP shortly after 2:00 p.m.
Few details have been shared at this time, but one witness said the suspect vehicle is a silver Lexus that crashed into a red sedan moments before a separate collision with a red Honda and a blue sedan.
At least one person was treated at the scene by Sacramento Fire medics for minor injuries.
The causing Lexus was last seen heading northbound on Watt Ave after taking the exit.
All westbound lanes became blocked as emergency vehicles arrived on the scene.
Two vehicles were towed from the scene, suggesting significant vehicle damage.
