SACRAMENTO, CA -- At least one person was injured after a two-car accident Tuesday afternoon near Arden Middle School in east Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in front of a residence at 3611 El Ricon Way shortly before 3:37 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but Sacramento Fire crews said a white Ford pickup truck and a gold Nissan Maxima were involved and blocking the roadway.
At least one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
In addition to an ambulance, a tow truck was also requested at the scene, suggesting significant damage to at least one vehicle.
