ROSEVILLE, CA - One person was seriously injured, while three others sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Roseville last week, reports FOX40.

Earlier last week, police spotted a person attempting to break into a parked car at Parkside Way and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard. As they approached the scene, the person ran and got into a vehicle with two other people that fled the scene.

Roseville police and a California Highway Patrol helicopter chased the car until it crashed into two other vehicles after running a red light at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Cirby Way.

One man in the vehicle that fled was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Two juveniles in the car were also sent to a hospital and taken to a detention center once released.

Another person in a vehicle that was struck was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The man and two minors are facing several charges including evasion from police officers, possession of an unregistered firearm, child endangerment, vandalism, and auto burglary.
