SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- At least two people were injured Wednesday evening in a multi-vehicle accident near a shopping center in Rio Linda, according to California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred near the Rio Linda Boulevard intersection in front of a Rite Aid store shortly before 7:30 p.m.
It is unclear what led up to the accident, but three vehicles were involved, including a black Ford Fusion, a black Mercedes, and a blue Toyota Corolla.
An ambulance was en route to the scene for at least two people with minor injuries.
CHP officers arrived to find two right lanes blocked.
A tow truck was requested for at least two vehicles, suggesting significant damage.
