SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run crash was reported Monday evening on Interstate 5 near the American River in north Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 just north of Richards Boulevard. It was first reported by CHP at 6:38 p.m.
Few details have been shared at this time, but the suspect vehicle was said to have a child passenger.
The crash report indicated the wreck was cleared from the roadway and moved to 1031 L Street.
