Hit-and-run reported on Capital City Freeway in northeast Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run crash was reported Thursday afternoon on a Capital City Freeway northbound onramp in northeast Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred on the Watt Avenue onramp to SR-51 northbound near Del Paso Park and was first reported shortly after 3:00 p.m.

CHP officers arrived to find the victim vehicle, a white Ford Fusion, in the right hand shoulder along the ramp.

No injuries have been reported in the crash as of 3:14 p.m. Thursday.
