Hit-and-run crash reported at Sacramento International Airport

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run collision was reported Friday afternoon at the loading areas of Sacramento International Airport, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred near the doors to Gate 5, Terminal B along Airport Boulevard and was first reported at 3:26 p.m.

The causing vehicle that fled the scene is believed to be a tan Buick or Lincoln.

The reporting party of the victim vehicle said they are unsure whether or not the driver was aware of causing the collision, suggesting a minor crash and possibly superficial vehicle damage.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Sacramento Sheriff's Office was alerted of the incident and will be conducting an investigation.
