SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run crash was reported Tuesday evening on U.S. Highway 50 near east Sacramento's College/Glen area, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on the eastbound lanes of the highway just west of Watt Avenue. It was first reported by CHP at 6:36 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but it involved a gray Honda Accord and another vehicle.
Both vehicles were initially reported to be at rest on the right hand shoulder, but by 6:49 p.m., the other vehicle had fled the scene, prompting CHP to reopen the case.
As of 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, no injuries were reported in the event.
