SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run crash involving a semi-truck was reported Tuesday afternoon on an Interstate 80 onramp in north Sacramento, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on the ramp connecting Truxel Road to I-80 eastbound, near the city's Natomas Crossing area. It was first reported by CHP at 4:44 p.m.
Few details have been made available, but the CHP crash report suggests the driver of a semi-truck collided with another vehicle and fled the scene.
The semi is believed to be connected to Reading, Pennsylvania, but was also described as having a California vehicle code on its side. It was last seen traveling westbound on the interstate.
As of 4:51 p.m., no injuries have been reported in the event.
