SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A hit-and-run crash was reported Tuesday afternoon near a large shopping center near North Highlands, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred on the northbound lanes of Auburn Boulevard just north of Madison Avenue. It was first reported by CHP at 3:42 p.m.
