Hit-and-run collision reported near Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A hit-and-run collision took place Wednesday afternoon near Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The incident occurred on Fair Oaks Boulevard near the Marconi Avenue intersection shortly before 4:33 p.m.

Troopers believe a white Lexus was struck by a blue Honda Civic. The Lexus remained disabled in the roadway, while the driver in the Honda fled the scene.

No injuries have been reported as of this writing.
