Heavy police presence and traffic reported after North Highlands crash and shooting

SACRAMENTO, CA - Police were investigating a car crash and shooting in the same area of North Highlands on Thursday morning.

According to CBS13, a car crash happened on Auburn Boulevard at Orange Grove Avenue. Someone also was reportedly shot in the area.

Authorities shut down the roadway as an investigation took place. Details on what caused the crash or the extent of those injured have not been provided.
