Five injured in collision on Sunrise Blvd near north Fair Oaks

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- Five people were hurt, one critically, Monday afternoon in a vehicle accident on Sunrise Boulevard near north Fair Oaks, according to CBS Sacramento.

Metro Fire crews responded to the scene near the Wildridge Drive intersection shortly after 2:30 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the accident, but authorities said one person was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Four other victims suffered minor to moderate injuries.

Motorists were told to expect delays in the area as crews worked the scene.
