SACRAMENTO, CA -- A fire truck was struck by another vehicle late Monday morning while at the scene of a vehicle fire along Interstate 80 in north Sacramento, according to CBS Sacramento.
The truck was on the stopped on the shoulder along the freeway west of Raley Boulevard when it was rear-ended.
The at-fault driver sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
No fire personnel at the scene were injured.
No further information on the incident has been reported.
