Fatal crash reported on Rainbow Bridge in Folsom

FOLSOM, CA - A person died in a single-vehicle crash on Rainbow Bridge in Folsom on Thursday.

According to KCRA, the crash likely happened overnight but was reported on Thursday morning. Authorities found a vehicle crashed off the roadway and into an embankment on Greenback Lane.

The bridge was closed in both directions for several hours as police investigated the fatal crash.
