EMS called to two-vehicle crash in S Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento Police Department has requested an ambulance after a two-vehicle accident in South Sacramento, according to the California highway Patrol.

The accident occurred where SR 99 North connects with US 50 East at about 12:39 p.m.

Troopers say a silver Toyota Prius and a Silver SUV collided in the right lanes of the freeway. Both vehicles have since pulled into the right-hand shoulder. One car is still partially blocking the slow lane as they await a tow truck to clear debris.
